Why does connecting my xbox 360 to wireless crap-out my network?

I have verizon wireless and I noticed that whenever I play a game on my xbox 360 (which is connected ethernet into the back of my wireless router) that it tends to do something so that the router doesn’t work and I get booted from a game and my internet on my laptop doesn’t work. Even though it says I’m still connected to wireless on my computer.

What is the problem?

  2. hmm….there might not be enough bandwidth and its slowing down your connection to a complete stop. Or check the wires physically for any breaks or tares in the wire, also if you have an old router, routers have a tendency to give out on you after about two years so if its been that long than you just might consider buying a new one. That’s really all I think of, its gotta be the router, I hope this helped you, have a nice day!
