How to stop connecting to an insecured wireless network in Windows Vista?

I want to stop my windows vista desktop connecting automatically to my neighbor’s unsecured wireless.
I have a secured wireless connection that I want to connect to by default every time I turn on my desktop.

Go to start/connect_to and select the connection profile. Right click it and look at properties. On the one you want to use, select "connect when in range" and de-select "connect to a more preferred network if available".

Then go to the unwanted connection and reverse these selections.
