How do I stop my internet from automatically connecting to a wireless network?

By accident, I edited my settings so that I automatically connect to an unsecured wireless connection instead of my home ADSL. Now the person is messing around with my computer because they’ve figured out my IP address. HELP!

if u r using a mac, u could go to the network preferences and delete the network to prevent ur mac to connect to it. if u r using a pc u could click on the wireless network button and choose which network u could choose which network that u would like to join.

  1. If you have windows, you can hit the start button, go to control panel, go to network connections, and then right click on the wireless network, and hit disable.
