I am having problem connecting to the net from my laptop?

I am able to connect to the net with other computers on my networkl but my laptop can not. I have tried to connect via wireless and CAT5 and neither is working. I am running xp. I have not deleted anythinig do I dont think it is a socket error.

try control panel/network connections/local area network/sypport tab/then chose repair hope this works for ya.
