I am experiencing a problem connecting to the internet, I am using a DSL connection.?
I am experiencing a problem connecting to the internet; the computer sends an error report stating that my internet browser is not responding. When I log onto a site i.e. yahoo, I can sign in however when I click the mail tab I get the error message. I can only go as far as signing into must sites. Can anyone offer advice on how I can fix this problem?

It seems you are having problems with the browser more than you are your connection. Your browser is not picking up that you have a live connection.
Double check though. ( Which puzzles me, since you are online and typed this message ) that you have a connection and its stable. Try visiting a speed test ( speakeasy.net ) and check your connection speed.
If nothing else, contact your ISP provider and ask them for assistance.
try unplugging and replugging the modems, it could be internet clogging. Or you can contact your ISP for more help
