will connecting my xbox 360 to the internet through my desktop computer boost my signal strength on xbox live?

I have had some problems with a strict nat type and have no way of messing with the router (i live in an apartment complex with free wifi so its not an option) would connecting it that way work. if not any other suggestions?

hate to say it, but it still probably wouldn’t work. I tried and tried to bridge my 360 connection through my pc, but apparently the update a while back that completely changed the dashboard on the xbox changed much more than just that. A net tech told me that it’s impossible to now bridge a connection through a pc. Something to do with not having access to the NAT settings through the new dashboard.

hate to be the bearer of bad news. If you discover anything different let me know.

  1. i dont think u can connect directly to your computer.. the only thing u can do is use media center to play some of your stuff off your computer. i suggest u pay for dsl and do it that way.
