which is the best programming language in modeling and connecting with databas?

I was asked to make simple DSS models and connecting them wiith Database , I want to take ur opinion un the best PL

The Answer are dependent on some factors:
1. What language you are acquainted to?
C++, vb, c#, Java
2. What Database?
mysql, Postgresql, sql server..

for me i use Visual Studio 2005/2008 in developing database application and mysql is my backend database, In VS you can do everything you want to do, like classes, enumerations, collections…I suggest you try VS-MySQL its the best software team.
