I just connected to some of my neighbors internet. Can they get my info?

I connected to other peoples wireless internet for a like less than a minute. I didn’t go on the internet though. Is it possible for them to have gotten info on me when i connected to their wireless router?

Any and all packets going through a router can be "sniffed" as well as the MAC address of the machine connecting. Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? No.

  1. they can if they are smart and when you connect to any ones internet the router should flash a green light and if their not using the internet and its flashing their going to fine out

    Odds are they’re not that paranoid.

    Just don’t connect to others wireless signal anymore without their approval.
