Hi im having problems connecting to xbox live it cant find the dns servers can anyone help me fix this?

ive tried everything i can think of done it automatic manually it finds the network fine it fails when it looks for xbox live dns servers it cant connect to the internet i can connect to the internet no problem on my pc its doing my head in even contacted virgin media to see if there was any problems there end but it was all working fine has anyone else ever had this and how have you fixed it?

that sucks, I have some serious NAT issues right now :p but anyway you didn’t give enough details. add some information plz
