Help with connecting Home Theatre System to Xbox 360?

I bought a home theatre system today, but i’m having trouble connecting it to my xbox 360. The system bass doesnt have an optical audio input but It does have 2 Auxillary inputs and i was wondering if i could set it up using only RCA cables. Or is there any other way of setting it up?

If i bought a VGA HD cable for the xbox 360 would it work then?

Connect the red and white RCA audio cables from the Xbox into the auxiliary input on the HT receiver. That should do it.*
