Connecting to my home wifi using my Blackberry flip?

I just got a Blackberry flip, and I am able to find my home (Qwest) wifi, but I can’t actually connect to it or go to the internet using it. Can I actually use my home wifi to connect on the internet with my BB? and if yes, what am I doing wrong?
