How to get new computer to connect to DSL?

I just bought a new laptop. It is a Toshiba satellite L305. I can’t seem to get it to connect to my DSL. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  3. One question to you do you have a modem which gives off the dsl internet. If you do all you have to do is go to like best buy or Walmart and by a usb network adapter so you can get dsl any were in the house. if you have a laptop then you don’t have to worry about getting a network adapter. usually they are built into the computer
