How do I stop the Connect Broadband window from opening all the time?

I have a wireless internet connection but several times an hour when I click on the icon to open the internet, the window Connect Broadband pops up. This is very annoying and slows the system. Why is it doing this when I’m already connected wirelessly through the router and how do I make it stop? Thank you for your help!!!!!
I am literally underneath my router!!!
