How to connect my Xbox 360 to the internet?
I do not have the wireless adapter for my 360 to connect with WiFi. The only logical answer is a ridiculously long ethernet cord but my router is all the way across the house and its a very long house. Any ideas or any rigs I can set up? Like can I connect my laptop wirelessly to the internet, and then route the internet through the ethernet port to the 360? Sounds unlikely, but any ideas?
yes you can use your laptop to connect to LIVE. You will have to connect the Ethernet cable to the laptop, connect the laptop to your wifi and enable Internet sharing, do the live test and you are good to go. make sure you set everything to automatic. search on youtube for more help
you could buy another router or move the xbox or router also you could do the ethernet thing by putting the cable under the edge of your carpet or through walls like i did

i recommend that you use some sort of wireless device(like for a laptop or computer) and try plugging that in. or u can try setting up ur laptop and make it a home access point and see if you can connect your xbox to your laptop with an ethernet then just run it off of that. Idk though i got the wireless adapter and its really useful. i can take my xbox anywhere and play haha!!!
