How do you connect your Samsung Behold to a computer using the USB cable?

I did not get a disc with my upgrade box and cannot get it to connect to my computer. I have Samsung PC Studio 3 and every time I try to go file>connect it can’t find a phone connected. I tried it both on mass storage and on phone studio settings and still nothing, can anyone help?
