The Shelby GT and its Production
Carroll Shelby ended his deal with Ford in the summer of 1969. The GT350 as well as GT500 for the 1969–70 model years received substantial face lifts, the body alone increased in length by four inches (100 mm). Ford was initially closely involved with style and design selections, with Shelby having hardly any input. The GT350 was now backed up with a 351 cubic-inch V8. Assembly of Shelby Mustangs discontinued with the 1970 version. Ford released the Shelby GT-H model of the Mustang during the 2006 New York Auto Show. Just like the original GT350H from 1966, the GT-H showcased gold-on-black paint and was first solely offered at the Hertz rental car agency. A moderate capability bump over the conventional Mustang GT V-8 engine. Now its time to check out the amazing shelby gt500 for sale.
