Hey, I’m having problems connecting to Xbox Live everytime I do it says DNS failed. I’m connected directly to my computer (NOT MODEM) via ethernet cable and my computer has a wireless connection. I’ve tried bridging the connections and sharing them, but that hasn’t worked. Both times it says DNS failed.

You don’t need a Mac if you have an eithernet connection to your broadband. Just plug the Xbox into it directly.
